301 Redirect Wordpress urls

I'm trying to redirect my old blog posts to a new location like so:
from http://blog.domain.com to http://www.domain.com/blog
What would be the best solution SEO-wise?
I am mainly interested in redirecting post urls. Any images used in the
posts will be provided from a different location, so wouldn't that hurt
SEO if data wouldn't match the redirect?
My post urls were SEF optimized (/my-post-name), how would it be best to
setup a redirect that would match everything except resources like images
etc?
